What does it mean to create a ritual?

We tend to think that rituals are something predefined by society, but who says that you can’t create your own ritual? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀


There are many mentors who explain what it consists of and how to create a ritual, each one teaches his own. In the end, what works best is one that suits you and meets your needs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

How does it sound to you if I tell you what are the truths of excellent habits? What inspires you?

Ambitious, right? This explanation from Robin Sharma’s book “The 5 AM Club” was a great inspiration. There go these truths…

We can think that habits, discipline and willpower is the task of a few… well it is not. Skills can be learned through constant practice.

When you increase self-control (or discipline) in one area, for example getting up every morning at 6 in the morning, you will already be increasing your capacity for self-control in other areas that you want to work on.

These two truths that I have mentioned helped me to realize that changing my habits is possible. However, creating good habits also requires values.

The consistency and persistence. There is an example that has helped me a lot, that of sports. Imagine that today you decide to go for a run, there always comes a point where you feel that you can’t take it anymore (except if your health is going, of course.) That is what I like to call limit-moment, but it is a cloud-limit because If you decide to continue, you will see that it was not so bad and that limit moves to allow you to overcome yourself.

Personal respect. If you have seriously decided to do something, its continuation determines the personal respect you have for yourself. I mean, believe in yourself and move on!

Here I share my little morning ritual: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀


Good morning without a mobile alarm clock, exactly, leave the phone for later and get a “lifelong” alarm clock, without wifi or intelligence.


I ventilate the room, clean and fresh air, remember that we spend many hours sleeping. ⠀⠀


Clean teeth and fresh mouth. This routine is a learning of Ayurveda, clean your tongue and eliminate toxins accumulated during the night. ⠀⠀⠀⠀


I make my bed and leave my room tidy, I was inspired by the katazuke “the magic of order” by Marie Kondo.


To awaken my inner fire, Ayurveda recommends that the first thing you drink in the morning is a glass of warm water with or without lemon. ⠀


My 20 minutes of yoga stretching are already starting, I love kundalini yoga. ⠀⠀⠀


I put on my haori and prepare a healthy breakfast with a matcha latte to start the day with renewed energy. ⠀⠀⠀



And … I’m ready to start letting inspiration bloom! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
